Presenters: Mark Merry, Assistant Director of Accounting and Auditing, Florida Department of Financial Services
Overview: Wear your Green today as Mark Merry provides our members with some history on the Department of Financial Services; the Division of Accounting and Auditing's responsibilities, including settling claims of the state, financial reporting, local government reporting, and an update on changes in the Florida Administrative Code; and reporting unclaimed property. Mark looks forward to your questions and might even give us a hint on how to look for unclaimed treasure (think GREEN, not gold!).
